The Missions Committee

KUMC Missions Committee contributes to many causes in our community, state, nation, and world. Below are a few of the people and organizations we have supported in our mission work.

Missions Supported by the Kniman United Methodist Church
Sorrowful Mother Parish - Food Pantry
P.O. Box 248, 165 South Grace Street, Wheatfield, IN 46392

Kniman United Methodist  Church has provided donations to support the Sorrowful Mother's Parish with their milk program.
Sorrowful Mother Parish Food Pantry is currently working with over 280 families per month.

Super Bowl Sunday - 2018
Cans of soup were collected on Super Bowl Sunday and donated to the local food pantries.  

Care Packages for Soldiers

This will be a continuing service project for 2013.  Please bring your items to church as you collect them.

NO chocolate, pork products, alcohol or gum
NO glass containers
NO spray cans
Items such as hand sanitizer and mouthwash must be alcohol free

Boxes of crackers with tuna or chicken
Dried fruits, raisins, trial mix
Sunflower seeds or nuts
crackers with cheese or peanut butter
granola bars and/or energy bars
canned fruit or jell-o in plastic cups
