The Blessing Box - In the memory of Bob Forbes
The Blessing Box was established in the spring of 2020 and dedicated on June 20, 2020. It is an extension of our mission's ministry to our community. Its purpose is to provide food and miscellaneous items for families that are in need of some additional help. No questions asked. As the words on the door read: Take what you need; Leave what you can. Little becomes much in the Master's Hand.
Norm Richie built the Blessing Box, David and Trisha Myers painted it and the Youth enjoyed painting the artwork you will see on the outside. The church congregation and friends within the community refill the Blessing Box to keep the ministry alive. Please keep in mind the weather when adding items. Jars or can goods and certain items will not fare well during freezing or extreme heat conditions. An exploded item could destroy the entire contents of the blessing box. A big THANK YOU! to those who are keeping the ministry alive and well.

You will find a doghouse located on the west side of the parking lot. Inside you will find pet food, treats and toys for dogs and cats. We hope this might help our furry friends when their owners are needing a little extra help in their time of need. On the other hand, if you have the ability to help us keeping the Furry Friend Blessing Box stocked feel free to include your donations.
Share the Warmth
In addition, we extended the Blessing Box to fulfil other needs of the community. During the winter months we hang bags with a coat inside for those who have a need.
May God Bless all those who have benefited from the Blessing Box and for those who keep the Blessing Box Ministry alive.
